Clare Dales
With 25 years of experience in heritage, Clare can create your Heritage Report, Listed Building Application or a House History. Having graduated in Archaeology, with an MA in Heritage Management and Part1 Qualified in Architecture, Clare has worked on Landscape and Historic Buidlings Survey, including Windsor Castle, North Yorkshire Moors and numerous beautiful private houses across Kent & Sussex.
Clare's passion for art expresses itself in printmaking which she uses to make fabrics, art prints and bind exclusive books. Illustration commissions for magazines, books and private homes.
Clare's interest in art and architecture was sparked at an early age, visiting old buildings and villages, and growing up in the Sussex countryside. Social history, the natural world, scale and old technologies often make an appearance in Clare's artwork, and she is pleased to share this enthusiasm via her popular workshops and podcasts.

Design Print & Illustration
Using Lino and Pen & Ink and pencil drawings, I create illustrations for books and media. This little chicken first appeared in Viva Lewes, where I illustrated the popular Edible Updates Column. For more illlustrations, take a look in my gallery.
